Our monthly PMI-NEW chapter events are typically held on the second Tuesday of each month, September and October and January through April.  Our annual PDD is held in May (dates vary) and our half-day workshop is held in November (dates vary).  Mark your calendars now for these upcoming chapter events.

• September 12: Chapter Annual Meeting; Presentation: The “Break Through” Experience, Shattering Your Limitations and Unleashing Your Potential; Speaker: Dr. Dennis Cummins; Location: Wilder’s Bistro, Appleton (In-person and Virtual). Sign-up will be available on our website in July.
• October 10: Monthly Meeting; Presentation: Panel Discussion, Chapter Members share information on Project Scheduling, Scope Management, Budgeting and Resourcing for both traditional/Waterfall projects and Agile efforts; Location: Virtual only.  Sign-up will be available on our website in August.
• November 14: Half-day Workshop; Half-day Workshop on the Collaboration Challenge: Inspire, Imagine and Transform – Unleash the Power in your Team, Location: TBD​ (In-person Only). Sign-up will be available on our website in September.

We are considering offering breakfast and lunch virtual sessions in the future…watch for more details on those.

Upcoming IIL PMP Prep Training Courses

Volunteer Opportunities

The PMI-NEW Chapter is completely run by volunteers.  We have several open volunteer opportunities for you to consider.  Volunteers not only help make our chapter activities and support happen for our chapter members, but volunteers also attend our events half-price or free and earn PDUs for their volunteer efforts.  It’s a great way to give back to an organization that helps to grow the profession you have chosen.

We would like to call your attention to two specific volunteer roles:

Director of Mentorship – The Director of Mentorship is responsible for administering the Mentorship program, which includes pairing and monitoring Mentor-Mentee relationships. 

AV Team Member – AV Team members are responsible for the Audio and Visual (AV) setup, operation and maintenance of the audio and visual equipment for PMI-NEW events. No experience necessary.
